.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

South to occasionally southwest winds will persist for the remainder

of the week. Patchy sea fog will also be possible. Strengthening onshore

winds and building seas can be expected beginning Thursday or Thursday

night ahead of the next cold front. The front will move through the

area on Saturday. Increasing north to northeast winds and building

seas can be expected in the wake of the front. More easterly winds

and lowering seas are anticipated to begin on Sunday night.

South to occasionally southwest winds will persist for the remainder

of the week. Patchy sea fog will also be possible. Strengthening onshore

winds and building seas can be expected beginning Thursday or Thursday

night ahead of the next cold front. The front will move through the

area on Saturday. Increasing north to northeast winds and building

seas can be expected in the wake of the front. More easterly winds

and lowering seas are anticipated to begin on Sunday night.
