HSC Update

Houston // Open to inbound and outbound vessel traffic 1340/11th March

Weather Outlook

We may get a break in the weather tonight as NOAA Synopsis below advises fog may not creep back in tonight and winds on Tuesday could keep fog out through Wednesday and then a cold front is to move through our area on Thursday.

NOAA

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Conditions are still favorable for sea fog development tonight

but maybe not quite as favorable as previously thought. We will

continue to monitor conditions before issuing another advisory.

Winds increase more Tuesday into Wednesday with small craft

advisories possible. A line of showers and storms may move through

Wednesday with a weak front which should keep sea fog from

developing again. A stronger front is expected Thursday night with

much stronger northerly winds on Friday. Northeast winds continue

into the weekend so seas will be slow to subside.
