U.S. Coast Guard Port Coordination Team Sector Houston/Galveston Update
Please note that there are more than 80 vessels anchored offshore Galveston so would strongly suggest that if you have any
upcoming urgent movements that you coordinate with your terminal and get an order in with the pilots even if an actual confirmed
time is unknown. Also, there will be quite a bit of fog next week which will also add to the channel congestion/delays.

PCT Members,
I hope this finds you all well, warm, and with power. As we move forward I would like to start gathering a list of priorities. While some of you facilities may not be able to transfer cargo it has been recommended by another
member of the PCT that if your dock side facilities are operation, that you not be discouraged from calling you vessels in. This would allow for bunkering, lightering and reduce the rush of incoming vessels into the port and the vessel will be there when you
are ready to begin operations. The less of queue the better. Please reach out to your constituents, get their priorities and start sending them in. We will hold a call tomorrow morning, Friday 19 Feb @ 0900.
